To get the wax off the wall, first we (and by we I mean Lori) used a hair dryer to melt the wax, then when it was in liquid form we (Lori) wiped the wax off the wall.
Then we (Lori) used a cleaner to get the oil off the wall.
Then we (my mom) repainted the wall. It was an easy fix (for me since I didn't do anything). I think we (me) will be on the look out for a candle snuffer to avoid future problems.
